Mark Anderson, owner and founder of Anderson Writing Services, has more than 30 years’ experience with writing and editing report documents, press releases, resumes, and online posts. He has skill with composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation as key aspects of achieving precision with the writing and publishing process.
One of the books he has edited is a 95,000-word coffee-table book, soon to be published, about the history of the shrimping industry in the South Carolina Lowcountry. For his editing work on the book, he received glowing praise from both the author and the book designer. He has also written articles for such local publications as the Hilton Head/Bluffton Monthly Magazine and South Magazine.
He served for five years as the publisher of the Semiannual Report to Congress for one of the Inspectors General offices of the U. S. Treasury Department. For the October 2005 issue of the report, he received the coveted Inspector General Award, the highest award presented by the agency. Throughout his public service career, Mark took as many training and education classes as he could to improve his writing, editing, and publication skills.
